My something-good turned out so good. There are still days that I will wake up afraid that everything will just slip away and that this is all the calm before a storm, but most of the days, I wake up with anticipation of the day ahead.
Things are good.

Sometime last year I desperately needed something good to happen. I embarked on a new journey and met really nice people. Now that I am starting to feel like me again, I am not going to let myself go back to where I was.
Happy birthday to the world’s most fatally attractive man ❤ Love of my life. I cannot believe that we are living in an era where we are getting regular updates from him. Just a small glimpse into his daily life never fail to bring a smile to my face. Cheers to the future ahead!

It was suppose to be such a hopeful year, for the world and the people around us. But it was tearful, terrifying and traumatic. It was a year of experience. A year of learning and perspective.

Delusional or not, I am taking a break from work. Doing what make’s my heart sing for the next few days. Reaching number 100 on my reading list. Watched several powerful and inspirational movies. Clocking 10k steps. Baked my first batch of Famous Amos style cookies.

Bad things at times do happen to good people.
Happy Birthday to the world’s most fatally attractive man! I love him so so much and I am so thankful that he shares a glimpse of his life with us. It’s been such a joy watching him being a fan of himself. Thank you for all the positivities and laughters that you bring.
Today is indeed a day to celebrate.

2020 was quite a year. We lived through an on-going pandemic. Having long walks made me rediscovered my neighbourhood and I love it. I continue to read books for my sanity and watch television for my entertainment. And, we subscribed to Netflix, the whole family binged, at a healthy level, occasionally. We had to cancel our Poland trip 2 weeks before the departure date. I learnt to bake. We fought and learn to love each other all over again. I had insomnia, but it’s gone now. Suffered a pay cut, but it’s fine because there’re learning opportunities.
2021 was humbling thus far. Grief and goodbyes. I didn’t know that these events were so hectic. Everything became “Before” and “After”. But mostly the “After” because I can’t really remember what I was doing in the “Before”. It is sad that it takes such events to bring us together again, but at least we did. I learnt a bit about my expended families, and whatever relationships we had, I hope we move forward. It’s great to see them smiling again. They made me want to become a better person, which I am very thankful for. I am grateful for everyday.
